Turnout Nation is offering both unpaid volunteering and paid VIRTUAL Ambassadorships for students who want to gain leadership and civic engagement experience from November 4, 2020 through January 5th. Ambassadors will be part of a project to increase voter turnout in the Georgia federal runoff elections on January 5th, which are expected to be close races and determine our Senate majority.

Turnout Nation is a nonpartisan nonprofit that equips volunteers called Captains with effective tools and strategies to encourage people in their own social networks to vote in every election! Members of the Turnout Nation community support each other in this common goal. Genuine conversation between friends about voting is a relief from information overload, misinformation, voting deterrence, and partisan messaging.

Turnout Nation Ambassadors are college students who have a passion for turning out the vote and mobilizing peers to take action. Ambassadors work with Turnout Nation to try out different ways of recruiting and supporting Captains in their community for maximum impact on the upcoming election. Ambassadors also host non-partisan events about voting and civic action at their institutions.

We're looking for students who are passionate about any issues relating to community on the local, national, or even global level! The great thing about voter turnout is that the outcomes of federal and municipal races affect almost every aspect of life. You don't have to be a political science student (although political science is awesome) to turn out the vote for an issue that relates to your interest and major whether it's healthcare, the arts, engineering, foreign languages, ect. Let us know what motivates you to get involved!
