Take on Wall Street -- Summer 2021 Telework Paid Internships

Take on Wall Street is a campaign supported by a coalition of over 50 national organizations — including community-based organizations, labor unions, consumer advocates, faith groups, and more — organized around moving a financial reform agenda that places economic, gender, and racial justice at the center of the fight to transform the economy and the financial system so that they work for the masses of working people, white, Black and brown.

This summer, as members of Congress continue to funnel even more wealth into the hands of rich white men, leaving millions of white, Black and brown working people without the means or protections needed to deal with the coronavirus pandemic, the Take on Wall Street coalition is stepping up the fight to stop them. It’s past time for us to build a financial system that works on behalf of working people, not against them. We are looking for an intern to join this fight for the summer semester. If you fit the bill, we’d love to hear from you!

Internships available summer 2021:

  • Save the Post Office Coalition: This intern will support a coalition working to stop the Post Office from being privatized, and instead, reinvent it as a hub for the services our communities desperately need, like postal banking, rural broadband, expanded vote-by-mail, and others. Please see the full internship description here.
  • Take on Wall Street Campaign: The TOWS intern will help with a campaign supported by a coalition of over 50 national organizations—including community-based organizations, labor unions, consumer advocates, faith groups, and more—organized around moving a financial reform agenda to address the predatory economic power of Wall Street banks and billionaires and around building a financial system that works for the many, not the few. Please see the full internship description here.
