Benefits

Professional Development

On a bi-weekly basis, Pacific Council staff will lead you across different professional development modules. We strive to customize the sessions based on your interests, but past sessions have included: Advanced Excel & Salesforce, Career Skills 101, Resume and Negotiation Skills, Research Tips & Tricks, Soft Skills in the Workplace, Overview of Nonprofits, etc.

Mentorship & Coaching

Fellows will participate in bi-weekly check-ins with the Fellowship coordinator and regular check-ins with their supervisors. During these times, we will assess areas for your growth and support to ensure a productive and enjoyable Fellowship experience for you. We also provide a modest fund for you to take staff out to coffee to learn more about their career trajectories and build new professional relationships. Your social and professional growth is important to us!

Access to Pacific Council events

We are thrilled to offer event access to our Fellows over the course of the term. You can see the types of events we’ve held in the past here. Fellows will also get access to our conference level events including our annual Members Weekend and Spring Conference.

Modest Financial Support

The Junior Fellows program is unpaid; however, a $500 stipend will be awarded at the end of the term. We also reimburse for all parking or public transit related to office and event travel.
