PROJECT SUMMARY
The Corporate Coalition is (CoCo) a cross-divisional working group tasked with securing funding from corporations and corporate foundations to support the National Trust's mission to save historic places and communities. CoCo has identified potential corporate partners, but it lacks contacts at those corporations. The research project will entail identifying corporate and foundation board members, advisors, and executives. Additionally, research would include identifying other corporations and foundations not already in the CoCo database and further identifying their board members, advisors, and executives. The goal of developing and expanding this database would be to provide it to the National Trust Board of Trustees to determine if they are networked with any of the individuals that might be able to provide us with a contact for soliciting corporate funding.
National Trust internships are temporary experiential learning opportunities with no expectation of employment at the conclusion of the internship.
For this internship, the National Trust is offering a stipend of $2,000 to help offset expenses. The period of the internship would be from approximately the beginning of June 2021 through the end of July 2021, for approximately 28 hours per week (some flexibility of schedule available).
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most National Trust staff and interns will continue to work remotely for the foreseeable future (currently projected through August 2021). Internships for 2021 will be performed remotely.
