Position: Summer 2019 Law School Internship
Salary Range: This is an unpaid internship position for law students. Interns will receive a complimentary year of membership to the New York Civil Liberties Union.
Location: New York Civil Liberties Union, 125 Broad Street, NY, NY
Applications accepted on a rolling basis. Second-year law students should apply as soon as possible; first-year law students are encouraged to apply as close to December 1 as possible.
The New York Civil Liberties Union, the New York state affiliate of the American Civil Liberties Union, seeks a diverse group of current law students for summer 2019 internships (unpaid). Interns will engage in legal research and writing to support litigation, advocacy, and legislative priorities on a wide range of civil rights and civil liberties issues; interns may also have opportunities to participate in other projects such as court monitoring, advocacy campaigns, and public education about civil rights and liberties.
