A global non-profit with an award-winning model, Endeavor seeks an Events & Development Intern to support special event planning and implementation of Endeavor’s Annual Gala and International Selection Panel events.

This is a great opportunity for a college student or recent graduate seeking experience in development or special events. He/she will gain hands on experience working alongside the Event Coordinator to prepare for Endeavor’s Annual Gala (500 attendees) and support the planning of International Selection Panels Events. The intern will also assist with donor cultivation and corporate partnerships. Candidates must be professional, passionate, and extremely detail-oriented. A quick learner who is highly motivated and pro-active is a must.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing event guest lists, donor recognition letters, invoices, and mailing lists
  • Coordinating with vendors, staff, and stakeholders
  • Creating event materials and correspondence
  • Assisting with onsite event set-up, registration, and logistical support in November for the Endeavor Gala
  • Conducting prospect research and creating spreadsheets, presentations, and documents
  • Providing general administrative support and assisting with special projects as needed
  • Maintaining records in Salesforce and eventbrite
  • Writing, proof reading, and editing documents

Qualifications Include:

  • Resourcefulness, creativity, adaptability, flexibility, and ability to exercise sound judgment and work calmly under pressure
  • Ability to establish priorities, balance demands of multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication, writing, and editing skills
  • Organized and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Experience with PowerPoint , Excel, and Databases (Adobe or InDesign a plus)
  • Non-profit or event experience preferred

Works With: Reports to the Event Coordinator and have access to the Director of Events & Partnerships
