ChemTalk is offering a unique internship opportunity to come in on the ground floor of an exciting new science education non-profit.
This is a remote internship.
You will be working with a team of like minded people, helping to shape the direction and success of the organization.
Start Date - you will either start immediately, or at the end of your semester, depending on your preference & schedule.
You will choose one of these four areas to focus in:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for science / STEM and for making a difference, will excel working in a team, and will believe that a focused group of people can accomplish anything they put their mind to.
ChemTalk's grassroots mission is not only change the perception of chemistry but to make it fun and easy to learn, using online content and multi-media resources to empower students, teachers, and family science pods to learn and discover why it is so amazing.
In this internship, you will have unparalleled opportunity to see what it takes to build an organization, and network with scientists, researchers, teachers, and students around the world - not to mention to learn new subjects and material, no matter how strong your science background already is. You will learn how effective a small, cohesive team can be.
This is a flexible, remote position. If you apply for school credit we will fully support that process. We can't wait to hear from you.
Candidates will be sent a short survey to fill asking about their science background, interests and timelines, and then be scheduled for an interview over zoom.
