We are seeking a projects intern available a minimum of 15 hours a week at a rate of $15/hr, to assist with development, outreach and research for our impact projects, as well as general office tasks. School credit in lieu of wages is available upon request.


Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Researching and compiling information to include in grant proposals and project development
  • Data entry and correspondence regarding current impact projects and campaigns
  • Contributing to web content and design for our project and organizational webpages
  • Shipping items like DVDs, books, and other materials for our office and online store
  • Editing and transcribing archival and production footage
  • Running errands (e.g. send mail, buy office supplies)
  • Assisting in fundraising/grant writing efforts for our current slate of impact projects


Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • NYC-based or ability to commute to the office on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
  • Strong interest in the arts and nonprofit management
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Administrative experience a plus


Working Conditions

Wheelchair-Accessible Large SoHo Office (with several rooms to accommodate social distancing protocols)


Physical Effort

Desk-bound and occasional walking to run errands, Light lifting (up to 25lbs)
