Primary Responsibilities

Provide Savethe marginalized is community based organization which is nonprofit orientedregistered under NB.CD/2499 but with the aim of improving people lives.STM Ugandastarted as small project in 2007whoever we have now turned it into non-governmentorganization in eastern region

The  mission;Tobring the dreams of the marginalized into reality and equality among the women ,children ,girls .and people with special need Enable marginalized to realize their rights and reduce inequality. Through economic empowerment. Save the marginalized uses a step stone  methodology to excute its duties in kamuli district

About the Position

Save the margimlized is seeking

an undergraduate intern (preferably a rising junior or senior) to further our

mission by providing administrative and operations support to our staff as well

as engaging in communications, research, and grantmaking. It is an ideal

position for a student with a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in the

non-profit sector and provides a unique opportunity to learn more about the

inner workings of charity. Leadership on special projects is also possible

depending on an intern’s skills and interests. This internship runs from March

to July 2021 and requires a commitment of 10-15 hours per per week

administrative support for the

Executive Director & Grants Administrator

Website, database, and social

media maintenance -experience with WordPress and coding preferr

A variety of special projects and

assignment

Assorted  fundraisings Task

Additional Responsibilitie

 Community research to develop community

projects through informed decisions.

Cppacity building to the team.

Qualification

Extremely detail-oriented; self-directed and takes initiative; highly

organized and systematic; able to work in a fast-paced environment; flexible;

interested in a future career in philanthropy or the non-profit sector; sense of

humor; low tolerance corruption; knowledge of fundraising  and social media platforms; event planning

experience is a plus.
