Public Ally

Public Allies Arizona is changing the face and practice of leadership throughout Phoenix and Tucson communities by demonstrating our conviction that everyone can lead, and that lasting change results when citizens of all backgrounds step up, take responsibility and work together.

We are a 10-month AmeriCorps program that places emerging young leaders at local nonprofits for full-time paid apprenticeships. Allies come from many backgrounds and do not need to attend ASU. Our mission is to create a just and equitable society and the diverse leadership to sustain it.

Program benefits Include:

• $15,000 (gross) stipend divided over 10 months

Our Allies gain valuable leadership skills and professional experience, set personal and professional goals, receive training and coaching, and plan for their future to help them achieve their potential. You will use your new leadership skills to help strengthen the organization you are placed with, as well as connect to leaders and organizations in your community to help address real issues.
