  • Managing the tracking and reporting on media coverage
  • Supporting the events manager in event preparation, logistics, and staffing
  • Supporting special projects and general administrative tasks of the communications team

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with an attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, or similar preferred
  • Strong interest in international development
  • Flexibility, sense of humor, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment
  • Proficiency in written English usage, grammar, and punctuation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM, HTML/CSS, or Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign) is a plus
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced communications office is a plus

The internship pays $16/hour. Applicants must be available for up to 30 hours per week, for up to 6 months (minimum 4 months). To be considered, candidates must have the right to live and work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
