    Description

    OWLL is a non profit collective of visual, music, and theatre artists located in Midway Artist Studios in South Boston close to Seaport area. Our collective is diverse and inclusive of artists who have a disability.

    We are seeking an intern to help us for the production of a play written by a member of our collective titled "Disability on Trial". The play will be produced in Midway's Masonry Studio in late May 2025. Casting will begin in January. Rehearsals will take place at Midway Studios.

    As an equal member of our team you wil help us to

    • Ensure that details and data entry for budgeting and costs , W-9 forms, and logistics are communicated to the director in a timely manner
    • Discuss specific expectations as needed with the director and access coordinator
    • start social marketing —as early as feasible
    • In consultation with the director establish a rehearsal schedule
    • Organize and take part in rehearsal and production meetings
    • With the designers and artistic staff, plan, organize, set installation
    • Attend and assist with rehearsals to the extent possible
    • Arrive at rehearsals at least 15 minutes before they start
    • Communicate with the lighting designer as needed
    • note any concerns to the director
    • Ensure cast needs and issues are handled in a timely and efficient manner
    • Wrap up: Plan, lead, and take part in the strike
