The Auschwitz Institute for the Prevention of Genocide and Mass Atrocities (AIPG) seeks an intern for its Online Education program. The intern will work closely with the Online Education Program Officer to offer administrative and logistical support for the department’s REPAIR (Redefining Policing to Affirm and Instill Human Rights) Program. The program offers online training and capacity building in atrocity prevention to police departments and law enforcement officers across the country, by providing a framework for reform centered around the promotion and protection of civil and human rights. The duration of this internship is fixed for a period of 4 months.

● Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field or work experience in online education, atrocity prevention, or a related field
● Experience working with Canvas Learning Management System
● Demonstrated experience working with diverse communities
Basic Information About the Position
1. Part-time, 20 hours/week for a period of 4 months
2. Start date: Immediate, applications will be reviewed until position is filled
3. Salary: A monthly stipend of $1,250 per month ($5,000/4 month term)
4. Initially remote internship: For the period that the Covid-19 pandemic requires, this will be a fully remote position. However, as conditions improve, occasional travel to AIPG’s New York office may be required.
