If you are tired and frustrated at the way women are treated in our society, come make a difference.

We are a not-for-profit business and professional women's organization advocating for gender economic equality and the elimination of all forms of gender discrimination.

This intern reports to the President with a dotted line to the VP Advocacy. You must demonstrate the ability to undertake public relations writing assignments, possess an understanding of basic media relations skill, interact with our board members, have good judgement and a strong work ethic.


Drafts basic public relationship materials, including news releases, media alerts, fact sheets and other materials as directed.

Develops & updates media lists and other databases, i.e. eventbrite.

Develops content for social media platforms, monthly programs and activities including activities during CSW in March

Other duties as directed.


This is a Great opportunity to gain exposure to successful women, interact with local, national and international professional women, International & UN Connections.

make a difference for women, girls and families. This position will be remote with some on site time. We will reimburse carfare and provide lunch or dinner if on site.

We are the local affiliate of Business & Professional Women International. Attendance at activites, programs and the Commission on the Status of Women held the first two weeks every March.
