Internship Summary

20-25 hours a week from a digital art student to join our non-profit Marketing & Development team. Projects will be geared toward the intern’s digital communication strengths that will help develop and add new skills they will need to build a successful career in graphic design/marketing communications.


Responsibilities Include

  • Assist in development of creative content for digital and print use
  • Research new marketing opportunities and outlets
  • Perform administrative duties for the department, as needed
  • Edit and create line extensions of current projects for print, web site, and social media
  • Organizing all shipments of marketing materials during their internship (gathering the materials, packing materials, creating labels, and getting packages out the door)
  • Website Maintenance: small updates from staff especially updates from member organizations, updating forms, uploading speaker headshots and partner logos for the summit 

Experience and Skill Set

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Coursework in marketing and communications and design
  • Creative programs like: Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
  • Knowledge in use of social media tools including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
