Organization Profile:

Measurement Matters is a organization specializing in impact measurement and management of social, environmental and financial value. With IA and ML we develop impact management systems using IA and ML. In addition, we build Innovative Finance tools to channel private sector funds into social and environmental investments. Our services are aimed at companies, non-profit organizations and investment funds.

Position:

MM immediately needs experienced grant writers to support the institutional and business development strategies for its clients, and write proposals for unrestricted administrative funding, funding for educational programs, business development and operations.

The position includes support researching, compiling, writing and editing grant applications, researching and establishing relations with key stakeholders, potential clients and partners to support our overall Development and Fundraising strategies including, investor meetings, strategic alliances and managing databases.

Detailed Responsibilities:

●   Research, develop and prepare proposals and grant applications according to guidelines; comply with all follow-up grant reporting as required by foundation/corporate donors.

● Scoping and vetting potential investors, grants & foundations, donors and clients

● Writing internal and external reports.

● Public relations and partnership building.

● Logistics and general administrative support to operations team when necessary.

●    Other duties as assigned


Requirements and Desired Qualities:

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Spanish and English

●    Expert writing and communication skills with a strong appreciation for and understanding of MM's mission

●    Ability to think and act independently and creatively to significantly broaden organization's relationships with donor

●    A proven leader who supports cross-functional engagement and problem solving

●    Organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines

●    Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and know how to manage Google Drive. 


Compensation:

This is an unpaid position in which the Intern will gain important professional experience working with an international non-profit. Once performance is proven to MM staff and customers, the analysts will be considered for future contracted work.
