This intern/volunteer will play a vital role in populating and growing Kindling's Timeline of Human Genius - a comprehensive catalog of milestones in humankind's evolution, from the first fire to today's landmark steps toward justice, peace, and sustainability. The Timeline aspires to help humankind remember its long, beautiful journey of growth and discovery and imagine the possibilities that lie ahead for it.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  1. Researching new additions to the Timeline
  2. Writing dynamic content that articulates how each milestone contributed to humanity's evolution
  3. Contributing to Kindling's strategic planning

Interns will receive personal training in:

  • Writing
  • WordPress management
  • Digital marketing
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Organizational leadership

This is an unpaid internship. Kindling aspires to offer paid internships in the future when it is financially able. At present, no Kindling employees and officers are paid. Given that we can not offer financial compensation at this time, we are quite flexible in the structure, approach, and timing of this position.
