Share Our Strength is committed to access, equity, and justice, and we strongly encourage those identifying with historically marginalized groups to apply. As an equal opportunity employer, we do not discriminate because of race, color, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, marital status, military status, pregnancy, or parenthood. Applications are considered holistically, focusing on knowledge, skills, and potential for success in our and for the communities we serve.

The Technology Implementation Intern will be primarily responsible for working with Share Our Strength’s Information Technology team to deliver new capabilities to the workforce. Some of the projects we have underway are intended to streamline existing processes. Other projects offer completely new ways of doing business. In all cases, the Technology Implementation Intern will assist in the entire lifecycle of project management, from planning to technical implementation to rolling out to the workforce.

Through these projects, the Technology Implementation Intern will gain real world experience in project planning, change management, working on cross-departmental teams, and using advance Microsoft tools (beyond just Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). These activities will also give the intern an opportunity to learn about and practice human centered design techniques, as we will use those approaches to inform how we gather feedback post rollout.
