Part Time

Women’s Funding Network (WFN) is the largest philanthropic network of grantmakers, for profit and non-profit organizations, women leaders and philanthropists committed to gender equity worldwide.

Our global membership of 119 organizations and individuals invests upward of $400 million annually in results-oriented programs and initiatives to increase economic security, leadership, and health and well-being for women and girls.

Headquartered in San Francisco, WFN members span 37 states in the U.S. and 10 other countries. We provide educational services, host conferences, collect impact data, and lead cross-sectoral initiatives to advance gender equity.

Mission

We shape the way individuals and organizations exercise the power of money and influence for gender equity. Standing at the forefront of the women's funding movement, we advocate, convene and inspire to increase the amount of philanthropic dollars going to women and girls worldwide.

Workplace Culture

Positions at WFN are crafted to support a geographically diverse membership and network based in various time zones. Our team gathers 2-3 days per week in our San Francisco office, offering the remainder of the week to work remotely. As a small team, we support collaboration and thrive as an organization when each person has the opportunity to share their perspectives and shape our messaging and positioning.

Internship Description

As Women’s Funding Network kicks off 2020, we look back at our last conference, Women Funded 2019: Leadership for a Changing World as a key moment in the history of the organization and our mission to advance gender equity. As a result of the Conference, there is a renewed and much heightened interest in and support for WFN.

The Intern will support the design and execution of key tasks and emerging special projects across the organization. WFN Interns have the opportunity to be an agent for change within the women’s funding movement and will gain valuable experience at a globally respected non-profit organization. If selected, you and your supervisor will create a schedule that works with your availability. We welcome those interested in working remotely to apply.
