FAIR (Fellowships, Assistantships, Internships, and Residencies) at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival has an immediate need for an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Program Administration Assistant working directly with Sharifa Johka, Director of Equity. It is highly administrative, task driven, primarily sitting at a desk/computer. It is linked to her work as the Director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. She is looking for someone with great cultural competency, thorough analysis, and administrative skill who could start rather immediately.
FAIR’s mission and vision is to achieve equity within the Oregon Shakespeare Festival while creating, participating, and supporting efforts that sustain equity throughout the field of American theater. The methodology of FAIR is to create opportunities for the next generation of theater practitioners to have a collaborative exchange of knowledge, skills and perspectives with experienced professionals. The program is designed to honor OSF’s commitment to include diverse people, ideas, cultures and traditions in all areas of our work. In most cases, prior theater experience is not required for participation and people of color are strongly encouraged to apply.
As a FAIR participant you would have full access to the resources here at OSF. This position comes with a monthly stipend, fully furnished housing, and round trip travel.
