Saint Hilda’s House is a ten-month residential young adult discernment program devoted to spiritual formation and urban ministry while living in community. We are a ministry of Christ Church, an Anglo-Catholic parish in downtown New Haven and a member of the Episcopal Service Corp, a national network of service organizations.
We partner with a diverse array of non-profits throughout New Haven to help address poverty, lack of education, lack of affordable housing, food insecurity, and other issues. We work closely with those we serve in order to build meaningful relationships and grow in our Christian witness of love, mercy, and justice.
While this is not a paid position, corps members receive housing, health insurance, a communal food stipend, and a modest personal allowance. Our term is from August 20, 2018 to June 28, 2019. If you or someone you know might be interested in spending ten months in personal formation and service, more information can be found at www.sainthildashouse.org.
