QuEST (Quaker Experiential Service and Training), a service fellowship year for young adults, seeks six Fellows for the 2021-2022 program year. Each QuEST Fellow is matched with one of our partner agencies in a full-time year-long position. Responsibilities vary based on placement. Our placements for the coming year are:
- Facing Homelessness - BLOCK Project Community Coordinator
- Northwest Immigrant Rights Project - General Intake Coordinator
- Recovery Cafe - Radical Hospitality Coordinator
- Seattle JazzED - Program Coordinator
- United Indians of All Tribes Foundation - Development & Communications Associate
- Washington Housing Alliance Action Fund - Community Organizing Fellow
Fellows live communally in a shared house in the Seattle's University District. They receive room and board, a monthly personal stipend, transportation and health care funds, and an exit stipend during their Fellowship year. The program offers mentorship, training, workshops, and reflective opportunities.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old, able to work full-time, and interested in community living and voluntary simplicity. Most Fellows are recent college graduates; relevant work and life experience may substitute.
