Residential Counselor for Adults with Disabilities

Employee will assist clients with intellectual disabilities in garden-style apartment setting in Bryn Mawr in achieving goals and objectives regarding independent living skills. Also, will help take clients to appointments.

Employee will typically work weekdays starting between 8 am and 12 pm, and finishing between 4 and 9 pm. Some weekends will be scheduled. Must have a driver's license, insurance and a car. Employee may be on call.

Employee will utilize compassion and creativity to enhance the lives of individuals served while ensuring their safety, happiness, and sense of community and belonging. Employee will maintain positive and open communication and collaboration with each individual, involved family members, medical professionals, and other service providers as appropriate and needed. Employee will maintain thorough, detailed progress notes regarding provided services. Employee will attend required and relevant trainings.

Position Requirements: Possession of valid driver's license, own automobile, and automobile insurance. Must have a High School Diploma.
