Citizens Committee —the leading micro-grants organization in New York City— provides micro-grants and project guidance to more than 500 grassroots groups each year that are improving quality of life in low-income neighborhoods. Led by everyday New Yorkers, these groups are creating solutions to the issues that matter most to them and are undertaking neighborhood improvement projects in low- to moderate-income areas all over New York City. Since 1975, we have been helping local leaders convert vacant lots into community gardens, create reading programs in Title I schools, build hydroponic gardens in high schools that promote STEM learning, launch block cleanups to get neighbors together to improve their communities, and so much more.

Citizens Committee for New York City is a growing non-profit, and seeks a motivated and talented individual to join our team! The Development and Volunteer Coordinator position is a full-time position and supports the development team.
