Project Invent (projectinvent.org) is a national nonprofit empowering high school students across the country to invent technologies for social impact. Core to our program are our teachers and community partners. We train teachers nationally through a yearlong fellowship. They learn design thinking, engineering, and entrepreneurship to lead students through identifying real problems in their communities and inventing impactful solutions. We involve people who face unique challenges as our community partners. They meet monthly with their student team to share the challenges they face day-to-day and give feedback to student inventions. At the end of the year, students pitch their inventions to investors and tech leaders at our Demo Day events. 

Our partnerships & recruitment manager is a creative, organized, people-person with partnership building and marketing strategy skills. As partnerships & recruitment manager, you will design and execute our teacher and community partner recruitment strategies. The ideal candidate is a master communicator and eager connector. You will brainstorm creative ways to recruit teachers for our fellowship and community partners to work with our student teams.

Project Invent is a high growth, young startup. The person serving in this position needs to be excited to join a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. This means being open to fluidity, flexible to changes, and passionate about building an organization from the ground-up.

We are a remote-friendly team, and are happy to accept candidates from anywhere in the U.S. This is a full-time, salaried position for a candidate excited about building a national network of teachers and community partners who are igniting social innovation in classrooms! 

What we're looking for…

• Strong networking skills: excited to cold email, network at conferences, and start conversations with potential partners. 
• Excellent writing skills and ability to present ideas and stories in an organized, compelling manner.
• Able to effectively bring partners from interest to commitment to retention.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Experience building and managing cross-channel marketing campaigns on digital platforms (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with a CRM like Salesforce is a plus.
• Experience with visual design and tools like InDesign, Illustrator, and Canva is a plus.
• Experience as an educator is a plus.
• Analytical and data-driven decision making skills to optimize recruitment is a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities…

• (50%) Lead Generation: Identify and build relationships with prospective community partners and teacher fellows through prospecting research, building relationships with key associations/groups, managing relationships through a CRM, and attending conferences.
• (25%) Pitch creative ideas for recruitment and develop strategies for execution and A/B testing.
• (15%) Manage a portfolio of marketing channels and programs, including email marketing, content marketing (i.e. blogs, videos, earned media), SEO, social media, ambassador programs, webinars & virtual workshops, and conference schedules to hit recruitment targets.
• (10%) Craft consistent, compelling, and creative content for marketing campaigns across online and offline channels.
