Job Summary: Manage a non-profit grants funding program as well as the daily operations and administrative functions related to a wide range of other Foundation programs and initiatives, play a key role in the planning and execution of events and supervise/manage the marketing and communication needs across the organization.

The candidate must be a team player who can work collaboratively with the entire staff, board members and partner organizations. This person must be self-motivated and ready to lead, while also having the ability to take direction. Excellent and effective communication and listening skills and a consistent high level of confidentiality and professionalism are required.


·        Track and maintain all legacy and other program related data across multiple channels

·        Prepare reports and essential program materials

·        Distribute and collect grant proposals, and assist applicants, grantees and oversight committee with all grant program related needs

·        Identify and develop strategies to optimize the grants administration process

·        Supervise marketing, communication and graphic design projects

·        Assist in the planning and production of events and training seminars

·        Manage email marketing campaigns, monitor open rates and subscription changes

·        Collaborate with the E.D. on various projects and perform a wide range of administrative functions

Essential Skills/Competencies:

·        Must be able to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines

·        Motivated self-starter who can also take and follow direction

·        Knowledge of FIMS (Foundation Relation Management System) is a plus, or similar CRM database

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office/ Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·        Experience with event planning and project management

·        Must articulate and support the organization’s mission and goals
