Position Summary: In support of Planned Parenthood of Southern New England’s mission, the Director of Equity & Organizational Culture (EOC) in partnership with the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer (CDIO) is responsible for the direction and development of PPSNE’s equity and inclusion training implementation and its leadership and internal professional development program.


Essential Functions:

o  Develops strategy and training plan for all staff professional development and is responsible for non-clinical new employee staff training

o  Supervises two capacity building specialists and supports capacity building specialists to develop and implement training and resource development across the organization using a race+ lens

o  Trains internally and externally as appropriate on topics such as diversity and inclusion, racial equity, LGBTQ inclusivity, customer service, and leadership and management topics such as giving feedback and change management

o  Lead implementation of Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and related staff development

o  Supports the development of processes and systems to evaluate and measure the impact of equity and inclusion work. Gathers and analyzes data as needed and prepares reports – including an annual, comprehensive report

o  Partners with CDIO and VP of HR to create EOC budget and track spending

o  Partners with CDIO and VP of HR to develop and implement customer service, on-boarding, and employee engagement initiatives

o  Partners closely with clinical services and Clinical Training team to ensure professional development of health center staff

o  Partners closely with CDIO to create and implement organizational culture initiatives

o  Partners with CDIO to build leadership development opportunities across the affiliate

o  Cultivates and maintains effective partnerships with diverse external organizations, other relevant organizations, thought leaders, partners and vendors in order to inform the agency’s strategy for equity work and other diversity and inclusion objectives

o  Develops and implements leadership pathways and professional development opportunities for all staff including our internal mentorship program


This positions salary range is $72,982 - $92,477 and is based on full years of experience.
