OVERVIEW:
Year Up's National Development Team seeks an experienced and dynamic fundraiser and manager to lead a regional Development team charged with securing philanthropic support across multiple markets to fund program operations, growth, and innovation.
Reporting to the National Director of Development, the Regional Director of Development will be responsible for leading a team of fundraisers to achieve their cash and revenue goals. The Regional Director will directly manage Development staff members in their region. They will support the Development team in engaging prospects, managing pipelines, closing gifts and executing high quality cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship processes.
As an ideal candidate for this position, you are someone who wants to leverage your demonstrated fundraising skills, leadership abilities, and effective management practices in a mission-driven social enterprise. You'll possess top notch relationship building and management skills, with an ability to immediately build rapport with staff, young adults, and external organizations/individuals. A successful Regional Director will bring a dynamic leadership style and an outcomes-oriented approach to Development.
In keeping with Year Up's values, the Regional Director of Development will have the opportunity to interact with Year Up students regularly to help create and sustain a positive educational environment.
