Art Teacher, PreK-8th Grade

Horizons Greens Farms Academy (HGFA) is a transformational PreK-college academic and enrichment program for students from lower-income families attending under-resourced Bridgeport schools. We provide academic support, social-emotional skills development, and a variety of enrichment opportunities for PreK-8th graders during a six-week summer session on the beautiful GFA campus.

We are looking for two creative, dynamic, and adaptable art teachers to work on a part-time basis with our PreK-8th grade students as we return to in-person programming this summer from June 21-July 30. Successful candidates must be flexible and willing to work in a non-traditional manner due to Covid restrictions, working with small groups of students likely from a portable art cart.

Horizons GFA's enrichment classes take place during two 40 minute periods between 1:45pm and 3:10pm Monday–Friday afternoons during our six week summer session (except not on the following Fridays: July 2, July 16 & July 23.)
