Vermont Legal Aid seeks a full-time staff attorney in our Burlington office. The position will include work with our Medical/Legal Partnership on behalf of low-income and disadvantaged clients with health-harming legal needs, and education, outreach, and litigation activities with our Housing Discrimination Law Project.

Starting salary is $51,000 plus D.O.E. with excellent fringe benefits.
Level of Language Proficiency
Applicants must have excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated experience in public interest law, civil rights law, or legal services. Some in-state travel required; must have personal vehicle. Applicants must be admitted to practice in Vermont, eligible for admission on motion, or awaiting results of a bar exam recently taken.
