About this Role

Homes for the Homeless is searching for a Recruiter to identify, recruit, and screen potential employees for specific positions for HFH. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities Include:     

· Consults with the Hiring Managers of each department to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).

· Consults data and records to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions.

· Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and

then connects viable candidates with clients or hiring managers.

· Checks candidate's references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds.

· Counsel candidates on the interview and hiring process.

· Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.

· Follows up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a

placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.

· Proactively manage activity in an ATS and create content/messaging to engage with active and passive candidates.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.


Requirements: 

· Bachelor’s degree

· Experience with employment platforms (ADP WorkforceNow, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.).

· At least two years of human resources or related experience required.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an aptitude for conducting interviews.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
