University Behavioral Associates (UBA) at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York is seeking a Limited Permit Psychologist or Licensed Psychologist to serve as a clinician for a Regional Partnership Grant funded by the Children’s Bureau.


The Psychologist will be responsible for working closely with clients enrolled in a treatment study to address substance use risks for mothers-to-be and new mothers, including delivering multiple evidence based interventions to study participants; s/he will also be working on a project that provides relationship education to couples. Additionally, the psychologist will coordinate with various departments within the hospital as well as organizations outside of the hospital, will provide support and oversight of recruitment and study administration, and will participate in training, supervision, and consultation activities. Some evening and/or weekend availability may be required. The preferred candidate will have demonstrated experience with evidence based interventions, interfacing with multiple systems, evaluating mental health and/or substance use concerns, and will have excellent organizational ability. Spanish-speaking a plus.
