We are expanding our Legal Advocacy team! Turning Point of Lehigh Valley, a non-profit working to eliminate domestic violence in the Lehigh Valley, is seeking an energetic, self-motivated professional to fill a Legal Advocate position. This is a full-time, non-exempt position starting in the low $30k’s, with excellent benefits, including competitive wages, health and life insurance. The Legal Advocate position provides support, information and referrals, advocacy and accompaniment services for victims of domestic violence within the civil and criminal legal systems throughout Lehigh and Northampton Counties. The work requires the ability to work independently and with considerable initiative and autonomous judgment. Primary responsibilities are emergency legal options counseling, court accompaniment, supportive counseling, systems advocacy and emergency financial assistance.

A Bachelor’s degree in social services or criminal justice is preferred, and/or demonstrated relevant work experience in social work or a criminal justice related field. Preferred candidates will be bilingual in Spanish and English. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Turning Point of Lehigh Valley is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
