$25 - $30 per hour depending upon experience

The Administrative Coordinator will provide temporary support to the Operations Team at JustLeadershipUSA. Their primary responsibility is to support the growing operations infrastructure and administrative needs through a variety of temporary projects. This includes cataloging and archiving some records of expenses, assisting with office management, researching vendors, and any other administrative tasks as assigned.     

The Administrative Coordinator is a temporary contract position ending February 28, 2021, with a strong possibility of extension.   

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:    

  • Assist with managing the NY office by researching and arranging vendors for repairs and upgrades 
  • Assist with preparing the office for social distance working and COVID-19 preparedness  
  • Assist with petty cash expenses, stipends and metro card disbursement and reconciliation  
  • Catalogue, organize, and track missing expense receipts  
  • Organize supplies and transport of supplies to storage unit 
  • Prepare audio/visual needs and take notes at meetings 
  • Manage administrative and coordination aspects of special projects as designated, including planning and organizing internal events 
  • Book and schedule travel arrangements as needed 
  • Assist team with troubleshooting technology issues  
  • Other duties as assigned  

Qualifications   

JustLeadershipUSA seeks a candidate with a bachelor’s degree and 1- 3 years of experience in an administration or operations position who possesses the following qualities and skills:     

  • A passion for, and working knowledge of, social justice and change;   
  • Ability to work well in fast-paced situations, under deadlines, with high attention to detail   
  • Eagerness for solving problems and a commitment to accepting responsibility   
  • Extreme patience and empathy to efficiently and considerately coordinate meetings that involve numerous individuals with complicated schedules   
  • Willingness to work extended hours or modify schedule as needed to support occasional evenings events, early morning meetings and special project deadlines   
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Suite required; experience with Salesforce, Expensify, Bill.com desirable;   
  • Ability to prioritize and to responsibly manage several projects at a time;   
  • Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills, collaborative instincts, sense of humor, and charm.
