The Brooklyn Family Court Program offers case management and practical assistance to victims of crime. The overall goal of the program is to reduce the impact of victimization through advocacy, counseling and other support services. The Case Manager provides case management services to victims of domestic violence involved in the family court system and victims of crimes committed by juvenile delinquents.
Essential Job Functions:
Interacts with: Family Court personnel including Judges, Clerks, and Court Officers; Civil Legal Attorneys including members of the 18B panel, Law Guardians, and Domestic Violence attorneys; NYPD; District Attorney’s Office; ACS; and other legal and social service providers.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field or equivalent experience.
· Full-time, Monday through Friday.
