Description

The Rehabilitation Manager manages the rehabilitation services to ensure high quality services are provided to Elder Service Plan participants. The Rehab Manager assures direct clinical supervision of Rehab staff according to state law licensure and certification and working with the Clinical Director, is responsible for personnel issues within the department in accordance with the HHSI Human Resources policies. Duties include providing supervision for all rehab personnel, managing the restorative program, providing direct care services with an emphasis on assessment and treatment of functional disabilities, managing and tracking DME utilization and maintenance, and participating with administrative functions as requested. Duties also include recommending policy and procedure development and overseeing QI activities within the department.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy school with current MA Licensure, minimum of 5 years of experience; preferably with the geriatric population, minimum of 2 years of previous supervisory experience, must have strong assessment, documentation and organizational skills, effective communication skills to ensure achievement of administrative and clinical outcomes, strong leadership skills, Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, experience with CRM software, proven ability to resolve problems creatively, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and as a member of a team. 

 

This position is located at the Elder Service Plan, 1135 Morton Street, Mattapan, MA. The Elder Service Plan is a PACE model of care and an innovative, comprehensive program designed to maintain frail elders in their community.
