Program Support provides logistical, marketing, and data entry support services for the Training/Technical Assistance and Research department funded programs. Responsible for a variety of program support duties, such as marketing the program, calendar creation and registration for program events completing reports, performing data entry and participant screening for research and assuring that that programs have the appropriate materials needed to complete contracts.

Essential Job Functions

The following duties are mandatory requirements of the job:

  • Provide program support for the funded Training & TA programs;
  • Manage program calendar and scheduling of program events;
  • Update and maintain marketing program databases;
  • Conduct marketing for programs including create flyers, email blasts and mailings for program events;
  • Handle registration for program trainings;
  • Maintain inventory of program materials;
  • Provide webinar support to presenters;
  • Provide support and assistance to Research Department in the implementation of research protocols;
  • Conduct data entry;
  • Screen participants for ROAH 2.0 eligibility; 
  • Schedule participants for data collection in person and over the phone;
  • Collect data from research participants in person, by mail and through an online survey tool;
  • Maintain the confidentiality of participant files as specified by the Institutional Review Board (IRB);

Other Responsibilities

The following duties are to be performed as assigned by the supervisor:

  • Travel and attend contracted events throughout the New York City area
  • Participate in staff and other meetings, such as in-service training and staff development and orientation activities

Education and Certification

  • BA or AA/AS in public health, human services, social science, business administration or related discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Two years of program support and/or clerical experience and proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) required

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest degree of professionalism required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
