Job title:  Operations Manager 

Location: Remote/NYC 

Terms: Full-Time

About the role: 

Reporting to the CEO, the Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations necessary to ensure that the organization achieves its objectives. The Operations Manager will be responsible for the management and development of ECPAT-USA’s finances, working in collaboration with the finance team and contributing to the development of the organization’s strategic goals. The Operations Manager will be charged with developing and implementing policies and procedures in the general operational and financial management realms. 

Responsibilities: 

● Assist the CEO in the development and implementation of performance goals and strategic plan 

● Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals 

● Develop, recommend, implement and evaluate operational policies and procedures for all areas of responsibility. Ensure all policies and procedures are in compliance with applicable local, federal and state regulations and laws governing business operations. 

● Coordinate, maintain, and analyze all financial operations; including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly and quarterly reporting in coordination with the bookkeeper, controller and outside auditor for year-end audited financial statements and tax filings 

● Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual budget process in collaboration with the CEO and board treasurer. 

● Direct procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper records and to ensure adequate accounting internal controls and services that maximize organizational efficiency 

● Provide administrative oversight of Facilities Maintenance 

Requirements:

 ● Bachelor’s degree, major in business administration or accounting preferred

 ● 5+ years relevant nonprofit work experience 

 ● Ability to work independently and effectively handle multiple competing projects with an eye on deadlines and goals ● Detail oriented with excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills 

● Proficient with Quickbooks Online, G-Drive, Excel.  Salesforce experience preferred.
