Student/Partner Alliance(www.studentpartneralliance.org) is a non-profit organization supporting high school students from urban areas in Essex, Hudson and Union counties. We are looking for a part-time (15 hours per week) Communications & Marketing Director. We are a small, friendly office, located in Summit, NJ. The hours and start date are flexible; salary is commensurate with skills and experience.
-Recruit new Partners/individual donors/Mentors
-Create & update marketing materials as needed
-Organize events with Trustees/Partners/Mentors/Students
-Create, refresh & maintain library of current and past photos/videos/stories/quotes of students/partners/mentors
-Develop and implement social media strategy
-Update and keep current S/PA Website and track website data
-Communicate with donors and the press: prepare and send e-blasts, newsletters, press releases & articles
-Liaise with Partners/Mentors/Trustees/students
Other duties as required.

B.A. or B.S.
4-8 years relevant experience
Outstanding communications & interpersonal skills
Proficiency in all necessary computer software including Word Press
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work effectively with Donors, Trustees, Mentors, students and their families

Level of Language Proficiency
