The Community & Retail Engagement Team develop, support, and inspire individuals and

groups/networks of Oxfam GB supporters in the community – and in doing so, provide a variety of relevant opportunities to support from across the product portfolio. The team is responsible for providing joined-up and innovative ways to maximise the potential and opportunities that exist within Oxfam GB’s retail infrastructure and coordinate the delivery of a holistic and seamless community presence to help Oxfam GB meet its public engagement objectives.

 

The role:

 

This is a great opportunity for an experienced digital marketing manager to shape and deliver the marketing strategy for Oxfam’s online retail offering.

 

Oxfam’s Online Shop (OOS) is one of a kind – selling all kinds of second hand goods. including our virtual gift catalogue, Oxfam Unwrapped, and a seasonal range of new goods. Attraction and engagement of new customers is key to this role, alongside retention and development of our existing loyal customer base.

 

You will contribute to the development of our marketing strategy and own the delivery of all our digital marketing activity. You’ll establish the direction for our promotional calendar and significant seasonal campaigns to drive traffic, awareness and sales; and manage and optimise the marketing budget to ensure our acquisition activity meets defined ROI and CPA benchmarks. 

 

What we are looking for:

 

You are an experienced e-commerce marketer, with a keen interest in online retail. With a strong focus on customer experience, you have developed creative marketing solutions and promotional plans for an e-commerce environment. You will be able to demonstrate experience in driving profitable customer acquisition and sales growth via digital marketing planning across PPC, display, email, affiliate and social media channels.

 

You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships and develop high performing teams. Your strong project management experience means you are organised and able to meet deadlines. You will need to be skilled at creating impact with small budgets, whilst ensuring our brand, income and engagement objectives are delivered.

 

You have strong commercial focus with a solid understanding of e-commerce KPIs and the use of analysis tools to drive insight about your marketing activity and on site behaviour. You will be keen to bring the voice and needs of our shops into your work, comfortable consulting widely across all levels and interpreting feedback to help make decisions on marketing activities.
