An Americorp Position with regular full-time hours Monday - Friday with some Saturdays.
This Service position is an opportunity to live with a team and work with families both living at Mary House and receiving ongoing services through non residential programs.
Family Advocate Responsibilities:
Weekly meetings and communication with families
Assist with identified legal/health/education priorities
Coordination with partnering agencies providing services
Food Pantry and Kids Closet Clothing Program
After School Weekend Food Bag Program
Coordinating Monthly Newsflash Letter
In exchange for your year of service you will receive a living stipend, furnished housing, health insurance and on - going professional development throughout the year. You will also be eligible for Education Award through AmeriCorps after the completion of your AmeriCorps term of service.
