The Bilingual Program Manager for Well Connected will work closely with the Director, Associate Director, and program staff to replicate the award-winning Well Connected program in Spanish. Located in Monterey, CA this job will include program outreach, curriculum development, volunteer recruitment, training, support, and general program development, and daily operations. Must be able to speak, write, and communicate in Spanish.   • Attend and present at community events, including resource/health fairs and meetings
  • Provide presentations and trainings to potential participants, volunteers and community partners
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with Covia Senior Resource Directors and external agencies to facilitate referrals and support participants
  • Develop new curriculum and increase program offerings over time
  • Recruit, train, and provide ongoing support to volunteer facilitators
  • Facilitate and/or moderate Well Connected activities
  • Perform daily administrative duties (answering phones, mailing materials, maintaining database, registration, ongoing check-in calls, etc.)
  • Keep accurate and timely data and program notes
  • Be accountable to monthly goal targets
  • Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Fluency (verbal and written) in Spanish and English
  • Passionate about expanding an award-winning program for seniors
  • Demonstrated talent for building robust community relationships
  • Ability to work independently while remaining engaged in a strong, mutually respectful team
  • Ability to play a leadership role in program development and growth
  • Must be a creative and an innovative thinker with entrepreneurial drive
  • Excellent writing and public speaking skills
  • Strong computer skills, and general comfort with online databases and platforms
  • Organized with a proven ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commitment to diversity


Education and Qualifications:

  • Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with program development
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings
  • Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, clean DMV record, and the ability to travel regularly through the San Francisco Bay Area
