Founded in 1974, YouthCare was one of the first shelters to serve runaway and homeless youth on the West Coast. The goal was to help young people find safety today, and build a future for tomorrow. Using a youth-centered approach, we ensure that young people experiencing homelessness ages 12-24 have the hope, skills, and confidence to gain long-term stability.
YouthCare is currently seeking a Case Manager – Drop-In for Engagement Services: Under the supervision of the Engagement Services Program Manager, the Drop-In Case Manager will be responsible for the coordination of services for young people utilizing YouthCare’s Orion Center.
Successful candidates will have:
· 2 or more years providing counseling or case management services.
· Experience in safety planning with clients.
· Experience working in crisis situations and with de-escalation techniques.
· Strong organizational skills and experience maintaining client files.
· High School Diploma, GED, or Associate’s Degree.
· Experience and credentials must comply with program contract requirements.
