    ABOUT THE POSITION

    Symphony Space seeks a dynamic full-time Marketing Assistant. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Assistant is an integral member of an eight-person marketing team. This is an ideal entry-level position for a person with a passion for the performing arts and a creative and collaborative spirit. Please note that the position is hybrid with remote working hours Tuesdays-Fridays 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and two days per month onsite in the office.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Build all marketing, fundraising, and education e-mails/newsletters
    • Maintain all digital content for weekly newsletter
    • Proofread/edit all marketing materials
    • Create and distribute weekly digital marketing reports
    • Generate data reports in CRM ticketing system
    • Coordinate photographers for events
    • Manage customer texting system
    • Process Marketing department expenses
    • Manage all marketing requests for rental groups
    • Monitor watchpage and chat room during livestream events
    • Attend live performances and events as needed
    • Additional administrative duties as needed

    • Passion for the performing arts
    • Love of generating ideas and thinking creatively
    • Experience with proofreading/editing a bonus
    • Experience meeting tight deadlines a bonus
