Haven For Hope is seeking a senior Salesforce professional to lead our Salesforce transformation, and to empower staff to use the system for maximum possible impact. 

The Salesforce Product Manager will not only bring a high level of expertise in the Salesforce platform as a Salesforce Administrator, but will also bring an unwavering focus to supporting the staff and organization in the most effective way possible, whether by training, support, outreach, or system improvements. They will possess strong interpersonal skills, the vision and drive to never stop making the system better and more effective, and an unrelenting desire to support staff in carrying out the mission of the organization.

The Salesforce Product Manager will synthesize Salesforce needs for the Development department and any other relevant program into achievable deliverables, carefully customize Salesforce as appropriate, maintain the product roadmap, manage external resources to effectively deliver on the roadmap, and consistently prioritize training and support needs for colleagues. This position reports to the VP of Development, and will work closely with our CRM consultant team to receive training and direction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Leadership

● Manage and own the CRM instance, to prioritize high value fixes and improvements, and to improve system function.

● Support the CRM users to learn and use the system effectively, and to maintain data integrity.

● Engage in strategic thinking and planning about processes, vision, and improvements.

● Seek out and gather the evolving needs of the organization concerning the CRM and synthesize these needs into an ever-evolving product roadmap.

● Engage in constant communication with staff and executive leaders to understand priorities and effectively communicate key choices and team capabilities.

● Engage appropriate external experts and actively manage those relationships to maintain a healthy, productive functional improvement cycle.

Salesforce Administration

● When appropriate, execute under-the-hood configurations in Salesforce, such as configuration, automation, and technical improvements that are appropriate to be handled in-house

● Execute data integrity audits and cleanups, as well as data imports and exports, and where appropriate train others to execute them. Monitor data quality on an ongoing basis to identify issues before they become major problems.

● Carry out and oversee quality assurance testing.

● Project manage / coordinate development requests being executed by external experts.

● Manage and participate extensively in the work of data cleanup and migration.

● Research and oversee research of best practices and become an expert where needed on third party integrated tools.

● Drive and oversee the migration of any and all data currently residing in legacy systems and spreadsheets into Salesforce. 

EDUCATION

● A bachelor’s degree is required. 

EXPERIENCE

● 4-8 years of Salesforce architecture and administration experience preferred.
