Hartford Stage, located in downtown Hartford CT, seeks a full-time Facilities and Operations Manager to oversee the operational activities and maintenance of the company’s multiple locations. Primary responsibilities include the creation and supervision of operational systems; including life safety procedures, security and maintenance planning; recommendation of capital equipment purchases, budgeting and expense oversight of operation budget lines and coordination/overseeing outside rentals. Required skill sets include strong written and verbal communication, ability to multi-task, ability to be self-driven, knowledge of HVAC, security and life safety systems, problem solving, flexibility and ability to work effectively in a creative, fast paced and intellectual environment . Knowledge of OSHA, basic repair skills and theater based operations a plus. Work does require some weekend and/or evening work.
