The ACLU of Ohio seeks a dynamic professional to lead the organization’s equity and inclusion efforts. As a senior staff member and advisor to the Executive Director, the Director of Equity and Inclusion will lead in devising, implementing and managing policies, practices, programs, and organizational behaviors that foster diversity, equity and authentic inclusion within the ACLU of Ohio, and position the organization internally and externally for greater engagement and impact with diverse communities.
Ideal candidates for the position will have considerable experience working with diverse staff and constituencies, with a grounding in human resources and principles of equity and inclusion. Understanding of the intersectionality of civil liberties, civil rights and racial justice is critical. Change management experience is highly desirable.
