QSAC is a New York City and Long Island based nonprofit that supports children and adults with autism, together with their families, in achieving greater independence, realizing their future potential, and contributing to their communities in a meaningful way by offering person-centered services. QSAC pursues this mission through direct services that provide a supportive and individualized setting for children and adults with autism to improve their communication, socialization, academic, and functional skills.  

Are you an experienced recruiter in non-profits? Are you interested in working for a company that supports people with autism and their families?  QSAC is looking for a recruiter to support its programs in NYC and Long Island. Position is based in midtown Manhattan with travel to Queens and Long Island on a regular basis. 


Responsibilities include:   

• Ensuring that hiring needs are being met agency-wide for all position vacancies through ongoing recruitment and applicant processing

• Managing integration of on boarding process between recruitment team and other relevant departments and HR staff

• Attending various College career fairs, interview days and internal job fairs

• Liaison with hiring managers of all departments

• Travel throughout NYC and Long Island (Driving is preferred)

• Able to handle fast paced recruitment environment

• Process new hire paperwork and background screening process



·        Bachelor’s degree required, Human Resources degree preferred

·        2 years of experience in recruitment, required

·        Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
