We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our staff as Manager of Digital Communications. The Digital Communications Manager is responsible for implementation of all internal/external digital communications, website, supporter and stakeholder messaging and collateral to organize and build support for Open Primaries' mission. 


Specific Responsibilities:


Manage and grow all social and digital media and related strategy. Develop content creatively across all social media channels on a day-to-day basis.


Manage messaging to supporters and key stakeholders and distribute key messages through email and electronic platforms.


Manage development of web platforms.


Develop social media buzz campaigns.


Maintain the supporter database and assist with cultivation.


Implement digital fundraising campaigns.


Track, report and interpret data analytics and provide recommendations for new strategies and tactics.


Monitor developments in social tools, applications, channels, design and strategy and provide recommendations to increase effective engagement.


Additional duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Two plus years of relevant experience in membership engagement, communications, digital media, development, marketing or a related field.

Excellent copy-writing skills (emails, web content, and social media copy).

Demonstrated social media platform management fluency (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), including community building and analytics, and campaign strategy and management.

Strong technology proficiency, including: Microsoft Office, Google Suite, WordPress, basic HTML, and customer relationship software.


Digital media marketing experience (paid and organic) including: Facebook ads, Google ads, and online display ads.

Experience working within an organization’s brand guidelines and guardianship.

Ability and willingness to work well as part of a small team.

Strong strategic, organizational and problem solving skills.

Awareness or demonstrated interest in political reform.

Flexible, and able to switch tasks as priorities dictate.
