Position Location: Washington, DC

Type of Position: Full-Time, Intermediate Level

Availability: Immediate, rolling recruitment  

 

PYXERA Global is looking for a talented individual to work as full-time Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator to support the Global Pro Bono Division in our Washington, DC office. This individual should have 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluation, and an interest in Global Pro Bono.

Position Description:

The Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator will support the monitoring, evaluation, analytical, and knowledge management needs of our growing Global Pro Bono division to ensure quality and effectiveness of program implementation. On-the-job training will be provided, and opportunities for professional development and learning are available.

As such, the Coordinator will

1.      Provide assistance to program staff to develop performance monitoring plans and results frameworks during program design and implementation;

2.      Create monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems, processes, and tools;

3.      Contribute to measuring, analyzing, and reporting results; and

4.      Support the staff in project management and budgeting of deliverables.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•        Supporting staff members in setting up logical frameworks and stakeholder assessments

•        Developing monitoring and evaluation tools for programs

•        Developing indicators and designing surveys

•        Building surveys in a data collection system (Clicktools)

•        Conducting data collection, aggregation, and analysis

•        Performing research, writing, and editing

•        Developing reporting templates and instructions

•        Performing data management and quality control (Salesforce and SharePoint)

•        Providing support, troubleshooting, and training to staff as it relates to M&E

•        Taking initiative to assist staff in all departments

•        Supporting the team through various administrative duties


Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Required:


1.      US employment authorization required

2.      Relevant graduate degree (or current enrollment in relevant graduate program, or equivalent relevant experience)

3.      2-3 years of work experience related to monitoring and evaluation

4.      Excellent writing and analytical skills

5.      Advanced quantitative skills, including knowledge of statistical programs and Excel

6.      Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

7.      High level of computer literacy

8.      Ability to manage diverse activities, meet deadlines, and flexibility to changing situations and priorities

9.      Demonstrated understanding of international development issues

10.  Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and as a member of a team to coordinate and/or lead the efforts to effectively meet M&E needs

11.  Ability to work with diverse and international staff

Preferred:

1.      Experience with private-sector, corporate social responsibility projects/programs

2.      Experience with change-management

3.      Knowledge of Clicktools, or other cloud-based survey platform

4.      Knowledge of Power BI, or other cloud-based data visualization program

5.      Knowledge of Salesforce

6.      Knowledge of SharePoint

7.      Knowledge of foreign language (Spanish, French, Russian and/or Portuguese)

8.      Knowledge of SPSS, Stata or another statistical package software

 

Additional Position Details:


·        Position is full-time based in Washington, DC

·        Working hours are 9am to 5pm
